Daily Prayer

  • Galatians 3:24-26
So then, the law was our guardian until Christ came, in order that we might be justified by faith. But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian, for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith.

Praying for the Parish

The weekly prayer group for the work of the Parish is now meeting at 6.15pm in the Lady Chapel.  We recognise that not everybody will be able to make this time, however you can still participate.  Attached to the back of SJN are suggested daily prayer intentions for March and some prayers that might be used.

Praying for streets

In July we will be praying for:-

4th             Alcot Close / Fielding Gardens

11th             Waterloo Road / Barracane Gardens / Pinefields Close

18th             South Meadow

25th             Upper Broadmoor Road

There will be a break in August and we will resume mid September.

Prayers for healing

We pray for the sick every Friday evening in the Lady Chapel at 6.15. We include all the names from our prayer board and noticesheet as well as any others known to us for whom prayers have been asked. The service is a simple one taken by a different person each week and lasts about 30 minutes. Anyone is welcome to join us and we welcome requests for prayer.

If you would like to send prayer requests by email, details can be found on the "How to contact us" page.
