HOPE
|
Hopezone offers after school activities to young people. It is run by the Baptist and Methodist churches, with support from the other Churches in Crowthorne. The autumn term is about to start and there is a need for further volunteers. Hopezone operates out of the Baptist Church on Wednesday afternoons, in two shifts, from 2:45pm until 6pm, and from 5:30pm until 8pm. There are refreshments and computer games available for the youngsters. The next term runs from 8th September until 15th December. There is a meeting of exisiting and potential new volunteers at 8pm on Wednesday 1st september at the Baptist Church. Please let Ken Perrett know if you are interested and would like to come along. The current arrangement at the Baptist Church is temporary - we are working towards finding somewhere nearer to the Recreation Ground where the youngsters can meet. Ken Perrett 01344 773808 |
