Courses and Quiet Days
The next confirmation is scheduled to take place at St Michael’s, Sandhurst on Sunday 12thJulyat 10amwith, the Bishop of Reading, The Rt Revd Olivia Graham, officiating.
The Emmaus Coursefor those wishing to gem up on the basics of the Christian faith, leading to confirmation if appropriate, will begin after Easter (see details below).
Junior Confirmation– classes led by Carol Frost and Ken Perrett; Weds 5-6pm, for 10 weeks, starting 22 April (not 27 May); Confirmation service Sunday 12 July. Meeting on Sunday 8th March after 10am service in church office for all interested (email@example.com, 01344 771586)

EMMAUS COURSE - The way of faith
Who is it for?
- Anyone who wants to explore the basics of the Christian faith.
- You don’t have to be a convinced believer to do the course - just open-minded.
- Also suitable if you know you believe in God, but have lots of questions
- It’s a suitable preparation for those thinking about getting baptised or confirmed
What does the course cover?
- Basic Christian beliefs about God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit
- How to grow spiritually
· How to live as a Christian
What happens in the sessions?
There will be a mixture of teaching input, questions and discussion. You can ask any question you want to. The group will be led by 2 leaders.
When and where will it take place?
Monday evenings from 8 – 9.30 pm on 27th April, 4th, 11th, 18th May, 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th June.

What about baptism and/or confirmation?
There will be an opportunity for those who are not baptised or confirmed to decide whether they would like to take this step.
